General Church Info:

Business Meeting:

Next Sunday, November 1st, we’ll hold our quarterly business meeting. The meeting will be in the fellowship hall, beginning at 5 PM. The focus of this quarter’s meeting will be to vote on the budget. We encourage all church members to be present. 

Village Kids:

Light the Night - Trunk or Treat:

This year’s Trunk or Treat is scheduled for THIS Sunday, October 25th from 5-7 PM. This is a fun-filled night that promises to be enjoyable evening for the whole family! 

We Need LOTS of Candy: 

We need A LOT of candy for this year's Village Church - Light the night: Trunk or Treat . If we give 2–3 pieces of candy per child, per trunk, we need at least 8,000 pieces of candy! 

You can be a part of one of biggest outreach events of the year by donating candy. There’s a bucket in the lobby every day from now until the event. 

Let's make this year's event the sweetest outreach ever!

Men’s Ministry:

FORGED: Men’s Conference, with special guest Rick Burgess. July 24, 2027, Cost - $45
Most men avoid the mirror. Not the one hanging on the wall; the one that reveals the condition of the heart. This year at FORGED, we're inviting men to do something uncommon: take an honest look inward so God can move them forward. There will be limited seats at this conference, due to the size of our sanctuary. Reserve your spot TODAY! 

Women’s Ministry:

Save the date for our annual Women’s Conference, “Feast”! This year’s conference will be November 7, from 10 AM – 3 PM. Feast is a one-day biblical literacy conference for the women of Village Church and friends from the community. It will be a fun time of fellowship and a time to dig deep and delight in the riches of God’s Word.

We are not orphans, but daughters of the Most High King. He has set a table for us in His Word. All we have to do is feast! Our three main sessions will be led by Lee King from Opelika This year, we are extending Feast to include two opportunities to attend a breakout session. You will select one session for each breakout time during registration.

Summit Students:

Student Life Camp: 

Summer Camp for our students exiting the 7thgrade – exiting the 12th grade, will be July 19-23 at Samford University’s campus. Experience a week centered around God’s Word through sound biblical teaching, engaging worship, and community-building small groups that serve as a catalyst—so when God does something special at camp, it continues long after camp ends.

The initial deposit of $125 is due by Wednesday, January 27th. Sign up on our website under the events tab. 

If you or someone you know is interested in providing a scholarship to camp, see Pastor Pat or Jake.

Renown Conference: 

Sign up for Renown Conference 2027 is available NOW! Visit our website for more information. Renown Conference is a powerful two-day gathering designed for young adults ages 18–28. The conference is on January 8th & 9th 2027 at Village Church'. This year's theme is Identity. Discover who you are in Christ and stop being defined by the world. 

The cost is $80, but it’s only $30 to get locked-in and reserve your spot for this amazing event. Renown is open to individuals as well as church groups.
